  • Same-Day Requests: While we strongly recommend booking ahead, we will always do our best to accommodate same-day requests, subject to vehicle and equipment availability.

Fridays

Pick up after 3:00 PM Friday and return before 9:00 AM Monday

  • Pay for only one and a half days while keeping it all weekend.

Saturdays

Rent anytime Saturday and return before 9:00 AM Monday

  • Pay for only one day! Sunday is completely free!

Equipment Rental FAQ

To ensure a fast and easy pick-up, please bring the following:

  • A Valid Photo ID: Driver’s License or Photo ID & proof of local address.
  • A Credit Card: Required for the security deposit on all rentals.
  • Appropriate Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is capable of safely transporting the gear. If not, ask us about our delivery options.

Yes, we offer professional delivery and pickup services exclusively on the Island of Montreal.

  • Eligibility: Delivery is primarily available for heavy equipment and large machinery. You can check specific tool eligibility in our Rental Catalogue.
  • Booking: We recommend booking 1–2 days in advance to guarantee your spot. Same-day requests are subject to availability.

Not at all! At Emco, Sunday is always on us. Since we are closed on Sundays, we don't charge you for that day. We offer two great weekend deals to help you save:

  • The Full Weekend (Fri–Mon): Pick up your equipment after 3:00 PM on Friday and return it by 9:00 AM on Monday—pay for only 1.5 days.
  • The Saturday Special (Sat–Mon): Pick up anytime Saturday and return it by 9:00 AM on Monday—pay for only 1 day.

We understand that project timelines can change. If you need to keep a tool longer than planned, additional time will be billed at the applicable rental rate.

To ensure you get the best value, we automatically apply the most cost-effective rate for your situation. If your total rental period qualifies for a weekly or monthly rate that is cheaper than the accumulated daily charges, we will bill you the lower amount.

Because we offer flexible rental extensions to our customers, we cannot guaranteed exactly when a piece of equipment will be returned to the shop. To avoid making promises we can't keep, we do not take formal reservations. However, we want to help you get your project started:

  • Call Ahead: Please call us the morning of (or the afternoon before) your project. We can give you a real-time update on our current inventory.
  • First-Come, First-Served: Our fleet moves fast! We recommend coming in early to secure the equipment you need.
